With over a decade of experience in accessibility, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to creating tools and resources that empower diverse audiences.
My expertise spans audio description, for the blind and people with low vision, sign language interpretation and subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing underpinned by a strong foundation in UX research principles that ensure user-centered solutions.
My professional journey began with a degree in Journalism, which sharpened my skills as an effective communicator. This background has enabled me to confidently conduct interviews, deliver impactful training sessions, and craft inclusive communication strategies that resonate with a wide range of individuals.
In addition to my communication expertise, I bring a unique blend of design knowledge, enriched through research and coursework in film and audiovisual studies.
My passion for accessible storytelling is further enhanced by my experience as a sign language interpreter and translator, reinforcing my commitment to inclusive research and equitable communication.
Beyond my professional life, I am a self-confessed film enthusiast and occasional actress, with a love for running (ok, maybe more of a slow jogger).
I enjoy reading, listening to music, indulging in chocolate, and finding inspiration through travel adventures.
